Dr Stanley Cheung qualified as a Haematologist in 2005 following postgraduate training in Hong Kong and in Adelaide. He moved to Adelaide shortly afterwards and was awarded a PhD for his research studies in chronic myeloid leukaemia.  He subsequently worked as a research fellow in multiple myeloma in the Royal Adelaide Hospital and the South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute. 

Besides his practice at the Adelaide Blood Specialists, Dr Cheung is a sessional consultant haematologist at Lyell McEwin Hospital and an honorary consultant haematologist at the Royal Adelaide Hospital .  Dr Cheung is experienced in malignant and non-malignant haematology, with particular interests in chronic leukaemias, multiple myeloma and clotting disorders.

He enjoys spending time with his 3 girls whether it be taking them to piano lessons with the eldest, or watching the footy with the middle one.
