A/Prof David Yeung
Associate Professor David Yeung is a clinical and laboratory haematologist with a special interest in acute and chronic leukaemia. He grew up and trained in Sydney, qualifying as a haematologist in 2010, and obtaining his PhD in Chronic Myeloid Leukaemia (CML) in 2015.
David currently holds appointments with the Royal Adelaide Hospital as a consultant haematologist, at the SAHMRI as a clinical research fellow, and holds the title of clinical senior lecturer with the University of Adelaide Medical School. He heads a number of clinical trials in CML and Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (ALL). He has published a number of papers on his work, and is a contributing to author in CML text books, and contributes to a number of reference committees and advisory boards on his areas of research interest. His particular expertise is in CML, ALL and stem cell transplantation.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending family time with his wife and 2 young children.
